Dear Helen, good morning to you, my name is Lucia, my husband Antonio and I are writing to introduce ourselves. We came across your listing for a house sitter and are very interested in learning more about the opportunity to care for your cat and plants.

We are travelling in New Zealand with a work and holiday VISA, we have just arrived the past 18th of February. Back in Spain (were we are from) we have 2 cats (Ecko and Mali) and a wolfdog (Humboldt) so we have extensive experience in caring for different animal personalities and needs.

We are comfortable with all aspects of per care, from feeding and grooming till providing plenty of love and attention. Antonio has also a background in gardening, he owned a gardening company during 3 years and have been working in California as landscaper for other 2.

We understand how important it is to find the right person to care for your home and pets, specially an older cat. As responsible and respectful guests we will treat your home with the utmost care and additionally we are both non-smokers.

We are available to meet with you before the 22nd at your convenience. We would love to chat with you in person, learn more about the cat and the plants and answer any questions you may have. This would also give you a chance to get to know us and see if we are a good fit.
