Luigi

My name is Luigi Ottone, I am an Italian physiotherapist born in 1995 in Casale Monferrato.
I grew up, almost two meters tall, in a fabulous family in the Monferrato hills. From my early years I learned values ​​such as teamwork, belonging to the community and that goals in life are achieved with consistency and determination.
After graduating I discovered my great passion for travel and research in the rehabilitation field. I therefore travelled, in Italy and abroad, and followed numerous post-graduate master's degrees to broaden my knowledge in the rehabilitation field.
Another passion discovered after graduation is wine. I was born in a region known for its winemaking excellence and my first experience was at 16 when I did my first harvest. After graduating I was lucky enough to manage and cultivate a vineyard and a vegetable garden in Pietra Ligure, a town where I have lived and worked as a physiotherapist for 5 years.
I immediately became passionate about working with the land which, due to the geographical position, I had to cultivate everything by hand without using any tractor.
I was also lucky enough to be able to work as a waiter in a wine shop in Monferrato, where I was able to share my experiences in the vineyard with customers and other producers.
I am a sunny person, always ready to find the positive side of all things.
I arrived in New Zealand in the first days of November with a working holiday visa and my plan is to stay there until May. I'm working in Dunedin so I can afford to buy a van to travel, in the meantime I'm looking for a house to sleep and cook.
I love animals, I come from a very large family but I have been living alone taking care of my house for more than ten years now.
