We are a couple of French IT engineers exploring beautiful Aotearoa during 2024.

About our background with animals:
Benoit grew up with dogs (3 Newfoundland dogs) in his household and his family cared for miscellaneous small animals (chicken, hamsters, cats...) over the years. He is very good at engaging and becoming friendly with all sorts of animals while setting sound boundaries. He is also endlessly patient and full of energy when it comes to playing with them.
Manon finds cats absolutely irresistible - . She befriends animals slowly but surely. She loves cuddles and gaining pets' trust by taking care of them.
We are stable and very complementary regarding animal care, and also responsible and easygoing people in general.

We are eager to meet you and your furry (feathery? wooly?) treasures.

Manon and Benoit delivered on our expectations. Our main concern is our cats and their well being. They are animal lovers and soon made friends w/ Jacques and Lundy. In regard to the house, it was more or less as we left it, pretty clean and not burned down. They spent a lot of time here playing our board games so the cats didn't feel abandoned, Jacques joined in, and he slept on their bed. They were prompt in letting us know that Lundy seemed to be limping, albeit it turned out to be ... MORE

Manon & Benoit are the absolute perfect couple to have in your home & to look after your animals. They are trustworthy & so amazing with all animals. We have various farm animals, dogs, cats & each & everyone of them were happy & contented when we arrived home thanks to the impeccable care given by Manon & Benoit. If you require housesitters this couple are the ultimate package. Happy to provide reference for them.
