Marcella & Jonas

Hi! We’re Marcella and Jonas, a couple from Germany, currently traveling the world since October 2022.

After finishing our studies and vocational training, we decided to give up our shared apartment and embark on this incredible adventure. So far, we’ve explored Thailand, Indonesia, Singapore, Japan and Australia, and now we’re heading to New Zealand.
We both have a deep love for animals and have shared our lives with a wide range of pets. Marcella grew up in a family with dogs, cats, hamsters, gerbils, guinea pigs, and rabbits. She also spent many summers on her uncle’s farm, helping to take care of the chickens. Jonas' family was always the go-to dog sitter for friends and neighbors, and he spent his childhood surrounded by birds, guinea pigs, hamsters, and fish.
Our first pet together was Holly, our beloved hamster, and we hope to welcome a dog into our lives one day. Having grown up with pets ourselves, we know how important it is to have reliable, caring people looking after your home and beloved animals.
As a couple, we are easygoing, responsible, and take our commitments seriously, especially when it comes to caring for animals and respecting homes. We also both hold Police Clearances which we can send to you upon request. We love being outdoors, cooking together, and exploring new places. After an amazing time in Australia, we’re leaving our campervan and are excited for the next chapter in New Zealand.
