Mary: 65, Semi Retired Kindegarten Teacher

Hello I am a non smoking, semi retired Kindergarten teacher who lives in Taihape. I do relief work for kindergartens and administration work for a business I jointly own with one other.
I am a pet lover and have owned/cared for (mostly when my children were growing up) dogs, cats, chooks, goldfish, rabbits, budgies, quaiI and a turtle and had on loan horses. I was brought up on a lifestyIe block and we had cats, dogs, chooks, sheep and a pony.
I do not have any pets to care for at home currently because I now have grandchildren I have to travel by air to visit.
I am also a keen gardener. I belong to my local garden club and have managed to keep a large array of house plants alive.
I enjoy pet/house/plant sitting for friends.

Very conscientious lady, punctual and great communication. Looked after all our animals very well and the animals loved her. She left our house cleaned and vacuumed, and linen all washed, even when we said we didnt expect her to clean. Keen gardener and shared her knowledge by mulching around a tree. Thanks Mary.

Mary is a kind and considerate woman , She was earnest in her desire to meet Daisy's needs and treat my home accordingly, It was the first time I have left Daisy since she came to me 10 months ago so it was a relief to feel so relaxed leaving both my home and Daisy in her care. And I am very happy to have Mary return for a fortnight in a months time.

My first time using Kiwi Housitters went so well. Mary was great and forged a lovely bond with my dog Jinty, took her on outings, and looked after her and my home so well. I would thoroughly recommend her to anyone looking for a conscientious sitter.
