We took care of a lifestyle farm with 30 sheep, a horse and farm dog from Jan 2004- January 2006. We were allowed to get milking goats, and chickens and added a second lease horse over that time. Michelle did a general farm skills course with our oldest son Nathan at the end of 2017. This is our main experience, but have rented houses on farms with both cows and sheep over the last twenty years. Lots of goat experience as we've had them since 2004, with our biggest herd milked of 7 does and a buck with 15 kids one at one point. We can all ride farm bikes and quads.

An animal loving mature couple hoping to spend some time closer to our grandchildren in Hawke's Bay.
Hubby's work has given him three months to work outside of Auckland, with the arrival of our grandson.
Depending on the time frames either both of us or one of us may be available.
We have milking goats, a 3,2 kg Shih Tzu, Bichon, Maltese, Poodle cross, Yofi, who goes everywhere with Michelle ( including when she is a care giver for an autistic adult man & when she plays tennis) Our 14 year old cat, Tigress will remain home with our eldest son.
We've had free-lease horses and up to three cats, plus chickens and raised two ducklings, while overseeing around 30 sheep from 2004-2005 .
