Let me introduce ourselves, we are Noel, 66 and Teena, 63.

Noel is a Cantabrian through & through. He is a self employed contractor for a friends roofing company - NOT on the roof! but doing whatever needs doing to keep the roofers ticking along.

I was born in Sydney (technically an Ozy!) I moved to Christchurch with family in my teens so I feel more like a Kiwi. I work in primary education - learning support & have done so for 20 something years! At the time, it was important to have the holidays off to spend with our children, now I just love the time in the garden, long walks & 'pottering about'.

We have 3 children - all grown up now, so it's just Noel & I around the house. We sold our large family home 7 years ago and have been home, pet & garden sitting for friends & friends of friends on & off since.
I have included some pics of previous pet sits, we loved them too ;o)

We are a responsible, respectful and trustworthy couple who would be happy to help out by looking after your home, pets & garden while you are away. As previous home & animal owners, we totally understand the love & care you are expecting when you leave your loved home & pets.

We are more than happy to supply references for skills as home, pet & garden carers from current & previous home sits. Also happy to supply personal character referees.

This was our first house sit experince and we felt very fortunate to have Noel and Teena to help us. The sit was extended til 3 Nov2019 and it was very easy to make this adjustment. Most important to us was the way in which Noel and Teena treated our interests as their own and this was a great help in taking the worry out of being away as the sit involved the care of our plant nursery. We could not have been more happy to have Teena and Noel house sit for us, and care for our cat. We met them twice before the housesit began, and they were warm, kind and easy to talk to. They are experts at this, and asked lots of questions so that everything was clear before we left on our holiday. We had a couple of meet and greets first so that our dog, River, could get to know them, and well, she just fell in love. We received lots up animal updates while away which was so nice!
