Mel: 43, Deputy Principal

Al: 52, Chiropractor

We are Mel and Al, Cam and Ellie. Mel( mum), is a deputy principal of a primary school in Whanganui and shares custody of the kids (Cam 15 and Ellie 13) so housesitting is either Mel and Al, Mel and the kids, or all 4 of us depending on the time of year! I will always be open and upfront about who will be in the property when applying for housesitting jobs.

Al and I own our own home and have experience with many pets and livestock. Al grew up on a farm.

The kids and I have had experience housesitting while travelling around NZ, living in our caravan in 2019 (with my ex-husband). I have reviews of our services available from that time ...

Mel and her family were a pleasure to have housesit and pet sit. The home was left clean and tidy, our 2 x dogs were happy and fed and well-looked after. We would recommend Mel and her family again. They were especially patient with me on the day when I was a bit late getting away.
