Hello, Come home to happy animals and a tidy house :) I'm neat, practical and responsible. Non-smoker. An animal lover who also loves gardening - have owned both. Lots of happy repeat house/pet sit experience over many years. For added confidence, I try to meet new hosts and pets (especially dogs) before commencing a sit. Thus, we're all happy and requirements are understood. Covid-19 vaccinated.
Honest and security careful - I'm a trusted and caring pair of hands for your cats, dogs, chickens, alpacas, fish, goats, horses, plants, AirBnB and even backpacker hostel! Will follow your written instructions and keep you updated as requested. I like to help out where possible and appreciate a firm non-memory foam mattress; no electric blanket and safe off-street parking.

Lorna looked after our home, dog and cat fantastically during an overseas holiday. It was our first time using a house sitter so was initially nervous however Lorna was so warm with the animals that we relaxed and had a fantastic time away knowing everything was being so well cared for at home. We got to meet Lorna before the sit, which was wonderful Communication was great, including photos of our pets, and also updates of some maintenance that needed doing due to several storms that caused a couple of unexpected leaks. Lorna is intelligent, practical, thoughtful and tactful. She easily understood the house operation and appliances. The house was spotless and the plants were happy when we arrived home after three weeks. Her communications were complete and accurate. Because of COVID lockdown, Lorna stayed on for a few days and the garden was instantly upgraded. She has now done spring planting in all the raised beds, the driveway looks better, and there's more firewood.
