Green garden!
Make sure the garden and pot plants are thriving when you get back - get a house sitter.
Kia ora!
About 10 years ago I started walking dogs for KOHA, for fun. It has since become something that has offered some casual compensation from time to time.
I've always loved dogs though I never owned my own - I've never lived in a home that I felt had enough space for the dog to roam around freely in. Also as a performing artist I'm often on the road, and so never wanted to leave one behind.
I have had long stints of walking people's dogs, as well as pet and house sitting, looking after people's properties etc. I'm also very outdoorsy (I'm a surfer and hiker) and have taken dogs away on surf trips with me in my van.
I prefer walking dogs leashless in woof woof ruff areas, though I tend to take them close to where they live (depending on time and space!).
I'm super tidy, honest and responsible and would love to house sit and/or take care of your dog for you, around the hours of my mahi as an artist (differing hours/often flexible).
Here's my review from my last dog sit:
Nikita has such an easy way with dogs, and our energetic two year old Springer loved her immediately. She was keen to learn about all of his quirks, and tolerated his couple of nights crying when we left, keeping us up to date with how they were getting on. He was walked, kept company, introduced to other dogs, taken on beach outings, and seemed very relaxed and happy when we returned. The house was kept clean and tidy.
Happy to zoom hui, or meet in person if plausible.
Thanks for taking the time
Nikita
