Hi there, I'm Simon. N.Z-born and bred Kiwi. (And Mum). We are new to Kiwihouse sitters. 🐱🐶🐾

I have been traveling all over the world and have been back in NZ for about 6 years and love new places, plants gardens, cats, and doggies. When I was a kid we had a budgie named Arthur and a Finch that my sister named Finchy. Birds are cool. We had a cat called Top Cat and a black and white cat we called Domino. I used to race the dogs on our street. Our Dog was a black labrador called Coke and another we called Sheba.

I have my Mum living with me and we own our own home. We have over the last two years taken many trips away and stayed in various great Airbnbs all over the North Island. From Auckland to Palmerston North and all in between. On Mother's Day 2024, I surprised Mum and took her to Fly Palmy arena to watch the Pulse Taxtic netball game. We sat right next to the goal post and Mum had hot chips. I have been working on Executive Producing short documentary work and Mum is retired now. I can work remotely so am lucky to have more free time.

Have been using Airbnb for 13 years and in New Zealand have 35 plus great reviews that you can read or possibly contact the hosts via Airbnb.

We would especially love to find sits in Taranaki, Wanganui, Manawatu, Levin, and New Plymouth (Taranaki). Palmerston North. Even Waikato and Auckland in summer. Wellington too.

Mum and I are nonsmokers and don't drink. Mum had a glass of wine when we went to Cobb and Co :) I had a traffic light (raspberry lemonade)

We will keep your home clean tidy and safe and will keep in regular contact with you while you are away. I will use a sitter for our house to so understand wanting and having caring good people to look after the plants and gardens and the furry friends.

I can easily walk the dog and mow the lawns if needed. Mum likes going to cafes and having a toasted sandwich and a coffee. She will usually read books and watch TV so is a good minder that way for your house.

We always have the neighborhood cats swinging by and saying hello and we stop and talk to doggies when out and about. Animals are such great friends. Will be great to take care of everything for you and make sure your little ones, cats, dogs, and big doggies are ok and safe so you can relax and feel secure.
