Nadja: 30, Prop maker

I'm Nadja, a 30-year-old prop maker from Finland. I am a fantasy nerd who loves to sculpt creatures, bake 3D cakes, take care of animals, go hiking and do all kinds of creative things.

I love visiting countries a bit more permanently - actually working and getting to know local people. It's such a differet experience to just travel around and see cool places, than to actually get to know locals and the lifestyle.

I have done TrustedHousesitting before, and taken care of animals in Australia. I loved this!
I have had dogs and cats my whole life, and used to ride horses younger. I really enjoy spending time with animals. At home I have a 7-year-old Kettu corgi, and a 15 year-old cat Tarmo. I love spending time with animals, and this is why I love the concept of pet sitting.

When I was younger I used to train dogs a lot and competed in obedience and agility. I am very used to different kinds of dogs and cats, and can handle temperamental animals as well due to my training background. I would love to take care of animals during my travels, I miss my own pets so much!

Nadja did an awesome job looking after our home and 9m old Rottweiler girl Lilo while we were away for 3 weeks. Her communication was great and Lilo clicked with her straight away. We highly recommend Nadja and would happily have her sit again :)
