Kia ora! My name is Maggie and I absolutely adore animals. I completely understand how important it is to have both your fur babies and home looked after while you're away.

I have lived in Nelson for over four years and have done multiple long and short term house sits with both cats and dogs and even some miniature cows!

I'm currently working in learning support and language teaching. My background is in special & outdoor education and language teaching.

For both my job (working with children) and for Immigration NZ (I am now a proud NZ resident!), I've had multiple police clearances conducted for NZ and the other countries I've lived in.

I am a non-smoker and live a calm life. I enjoy the outdoors (dog beach, anyone?), sunshine and staying in for furry snuggles.

Maggie was honestly the best. It was the first time we were using a dog sitter for our little two year old Cavoodle and I was really apprehensive about the whole thing, but the moment I met Maggie, all my worries disappeared. She is incredibly warm in nature and our little one loved her straight from the beginning. Maggie's communication was frequent and reassuring. You could not find a better animal lover to look after your pets - my cats have new expectations since Maggie spent 10 days entertaining them. Maggie is also an excellent communicator and I received regular photos of contented cats even though I did not expect that. She understood the needs of the house and looked after it well. Highly recommend.

Maggie has been the ideal sitter for me. She was able to come prior to my departure for a meeting and property tour after whicg I left feeling confident and happy that my cat and home were in good hands. She's a fantastic communicator, no more or less than necessary and I loved receiving the odd pic of a happy kitty-cat. Maggie was an amazing house and pet sitter,. We did both agree that our furry friend was more like a teenager using the house as a hotel, coiming in when hungry then would trot off! Maggie was excellent keeping us up to speed with Parkers comings and goings! We came home to a very tidy and clean house, which was lovely. We would definitely recommend Maggie to anyone and will definitely look to use her again.

Maggie was a fantastic house and pet sitter. Our dog and cat adored her and she took our very energetic dog out daily for a walk or swim at the beach. House was immaculate when we returned. Highly recommend her to anyone looking for a wonderful lady to look after your place/animals.
