Hi!  My name is Laurie, I am 65, solo traveller and very interested in caring for your home & pets like I was their favorite auntie! I have been House/pet sitting since 2022 as a member of Trusted Housesitters and have enjoyed meeting sweet fur kids in Canada, Italy and New Zealand. I am very clean, responsible, quiet and will leave your home as I found it. When I accept a sit, I spend almost the whole time with your pet and do my exploring on days when I don't have your pet to snuggle.

  I am from Alberta Canada, but I have been travelling since Feb 2024 and have been exploring the USA, Europe the UK and now New Zealand.  I have 3 German Shepherd Dogs, a cat & 2 horses at the 80 acre farm I enjoyed for 25 years, where my ex-husband does a wonderful job of keeping them happy & healthy. I miss my doggie, kitty & equine energies!  I have also had fish, lizards, turtles, cows, hamsters, chickens and birds as pets. I am retired from an interesting career in Network Design and (on the side) a certified Mentor/Trainer for Animal Behavior College (certified horse, dog, & cat trainer and training trainers).  I believe all animals learn through positive experiences and understanding the body language they give us.  I am all about catching them doing something right and having a party about it.

Laurie was the best Housesitter we could have asked for. We felt super lucky to have connected with her.
