Mature, capable, home owning, professional English couple, available to care for your property and pets whilst you're away.
We are pet lovers, but are currently pet-less and focussing on travelling, and would love, therefore, to borrow your pets whilst you escape !
We are young at heart, outdoorsy types who adore the kiwi lifestyle and have been lucky enough to 'fly South for the winter' in recent years.
We are Police checked and non smokers. References from previous housesits are available on request. ( We have done quite a few....I realise we haven't many references here, but that's because we've remained in contact as friends with most of them !! )
We have a fairly flexible itinerary between Dec 2023 and end Feb 2024 We aim to be in South Island for most of our trip

No rating Shirley & Dave are such nice people and it may have helped that they are from Yorkshire like myself They looked after my home and I know they really enjoyed exploring Rotorua Would be very happy to recommend them to any other home owner and have suggested if they want to come back to Rotorua next year my home would be available to them to come and stay again

This was our first time using this website. Dave and Shirley were amazing and made this experience easy, comfortable and stress free. Max our fur baby was loved as soon as they walked in and I'm sure he is missing the attention and his new found friends. Their communication was outstanding throughout and when we got home the place was spotless and even cleaner than when we left it. I would thoroughly recommend them for any house sit and would love to have them sit again.

Shirley and Dave Jess sat for us while we visited family in the UK for Christmas 2018. They took such good care of Jess (our black lab) while we were away that she wanted to go with them when they left!! We found communication with them very easy and we felt so relaxed that we really just left them to it. Shirley and Dave are a wonderful couple and left our home very clean and tidy and the garden (such as it is) and lawns were well looked after too. We would highly recommend them to anyone ... MORE
