I decided to become a digital nomad in 2021. I love traveling the world and making friends all over.
I am a nature lover - including all her furry, scaley, prickly, etc friends! I had pets of all types all my life and am thankful for the ability to love on a pet while traveling.
I am responsible, clean, quiet, professional, and honest. I will treat your home with the utmost respect, as I am so grateful for you for opening your doors to me.
After 3 years of staying in hotels, I began to miss the coziness of a real home. And I missed the compansionship, snuggles, and laughter that comes with having a pet by my side. Petsitting has been the perfect solution! Plus, the money I will save on hotels goes back to the nonprofit I founded - so it is a win, win, win!
I inherited my grandma's gift for connecting with animals. They sense my energy and feel safe.
My first best friend was my dog, Buddy, who filled my early childhood with joy. My family has had dogs and cats consistently since then. Perhaps it is this love of animals that drove me to obtain a degree in Ecology and become a Biology teacher. My own fluffy sidekick in adulthood, Hershey, passed away in 2020 at the age of 17.
Throughout my adult life, I've adopted (been gifted) many fish, 2 cats, a tarantula, 2 geckos, a dog, a snake, a rat, and a hedgehog. :) I LOVED them all and I now miss their quirky companionship.
I have helped family and friends over the past 20+ years with housesitting and petsitting, especially in the past 10 years as my work schedule became more flexible to easily permit travel.
