Hi there. We are a quiet living, mature, married couple - non smokers, fit, healthy, happy, honest and trustworthy - and would consider it a privilege to care for your home & pets with utmost respect while you are away.
Lynn is a retired receptionist and Phil is a retired carpenter. We have been living the dream, living in our caravan for the last 8 1/2 years. Prior to retirement, we were both volunteer ambulance officers for 6 years, which we both thoroughly loved.
Happy to look after cats and/or outside dogs too; we have had our own dogs and cats over the years, so we are very comfortable with either/both. Have also looked after goats, chickens, cattle and sheep in the past so that would not be a problem. We have been house sitting in NZ for last 8 1/2 years and have excellent references. From our first meeting I knew that we could leave our house and elderly cat in their care.
They looked after everything and Lynn was amazing when our cat got sick, taking her to the vet several times and getting her back to health. She also kept us up to date with everything and the house was spotless upon our return.
I fully recommend these very sincere and caring people.
Lynn & Phil are great housesitters. Our cat was completely blissed-out when we returned unexpectedly in the middle of the sit. They were accommodating to our needs, the house was spotless & the lawns mown. Communication was good and we never felt the need to worry whilst we were away. Recommended

The house was kept very clean and I could not fault them if I tried. The garden was watered and maintained as much as I had asked of them . Our dog Max was obviously very well looked after. Although he was pleased to see we could tell by his calm (for him) welcome home, he had enjoyed a lot of attention. Thank you Lynn & Phil, I will definitely contact you first should we need Housesitters again :-D
For our first experience with house sitters, we couldn't have chosen better people. Lynn & Phill left the house perfectly clean, and with several repairs made unasked for. Good communication through out holiday period.

Lynn and Phil sat for us while we took a holiday overseas for 4 weeks. When we first met them we found them very approachable and friendly and easy to communicate with. Lynn kept us fully briefed on how things were going and how our cat Millie was coping while we were away and on our return we found the house spotless. Lynn & Phil looked after our home for 5 weeks. They met with us and the elderly cats prior to the house sit which gave us confidence we had the right people. As it transpired they were not required to look after the cats but were fantastic and still came and looked after the house for us. Highly recommend these two to anyone wanting a house/pet sitter.
There is nothing more secure than having people at home while you're away. Get a house sitter.
