Hi there! We’re Gillian and Cary, a professional couple excited about the opportunity to house sit for you. Based in beautiful Taupō where we own our own homes, we understand the importance of keeping a home well cared for. Reliable, friendly, and animal lovers, we can’t wait to care for your furry family members and precious home.

Together for nearly 11 years, we share a passion for travel, both within New Zealand and overseas, and love creating cozy, well-maintained spaces wherever we go. I work as a government education evaluator, bringing attention to detail and strong organisational skills to every task. My partner Cary works as an operations manager with a water purification company, and is not only great with people and animals but also skilled at handling minor home repairs and coordinating with tradespeople if needed. We’re non-smokers who are financially independent with have clean driving records, and are fully prepared to manage any responsibilities that come our way.

We know how crucial peace of mind is while you’re away. That’s why we treat every house-sitting opportunity with the utmost care, as if it were our own home. As former pet owners, we treasure the chance to reconnect with animals, ensuring they receive the love and attention they deserve.
