Hello, I adore being with animals and the quiet life. I am available to pet and house sit all over NZ. I am happy to travel to where you are. I am currently not on a work assignment and so will be with your pets during the day. When I am working it is typically overseas, or researching from home. I have house sit for for a while now and thoroughly enjoy it, and find it helps me out a lot in between work assignments. I have travelled a lot of the world, have worked overseas many times and love coming home to NZ. I love simplicity, everything natural, the sea, air and even our cold weather.
I bond deeply with animals in general. Relaxing I am reading, researching online or baking. I dont watch TV etc.. I treasure the quiet. I am the style of person who tends to keep to themselves, private and has deep relationships - animals, people, anything in life. If I am out, it is typically to go for a run, yoga or cafe/grocery shop. If I am with doggies they tend to come with me. We love our morning walks and afternoon romp.
I tend to do long sits > month and am often asked to return or stay on. I am known for taking care of things, and people have told me I am super organised and clean. Most animals will sleep with me unless they have their preferred bed. I have a natural affinity with animals -- even when I am travelling I tend to adopt local pets. I love to cook and create most things myself. I love the company of kitty kats / doggies while I potter around the home... While I work on the computer, my current kitty will curl up on my lap as I work. Cuddle time!
I do rely on a fast stable internet connection. Never smoked and don't like the smell of smoke. Basic cleanliness is a requirement for me. I have helped not-so-clean homes in the past, and in both cases the owners were absolutely candid - they simply gave me the heads-up during our zoom. This allowed me to bring some extra stuff to be sorted.

Suz housesat for us for 10 weeks. Suz also looked after our new kitten and dog. We have no hesitation in recommending Suz. Very easy to get along with and most trustworthy. We left our Ute for Suz to use and take our dog to the beach her runs. Suz kept our property very clean and tidy, she is a natural. We would have Suz back anytime. We have remained firm friends since also.

Super impressed with Suz. Our dog Alfie bonded with her within hours of Suz arriving and he's a very picky pup !! Suz was the most brilliant house sitter, so well organised with excellent communication. Our family’s two Jack Russells and two old Burmese cats loved her. She was not worried by a brief quick exit with the animals to another property when ours was under threat of fire.
She reorganised the house cupboards and fridge chaos and left the house in far better cleanliness than she found it. There was cooked food in the fridge and she is thoughtful and self reliant.

Suz was an outstanding sitter for the 4 days we were away - exceptionally clean, great communication including a lovely welcome home note, and she clearly adores dogs. Claude was very well looked after and enjoyed her company. Suz took care of the house and washed bedding etc for us, making the return from holiday so easy! Would highly recommend :)

You couldn't ask for a more caring, thoughtful and trustful housesitter. Suz loves looking after pets and our dog Tilly loved having her as a housemate for 4 weeks! WOW! WOW! Suz is an amazing house and dog sitter. Exceptional eye to detail and she took fantastic care of the house, garden and dog. Yummy treats in the fridge and freezer on our return and she has cooked us three amazing meals since we got back and helped us transition and get over the jet lag. Our doggies were cared for, our house was left beyond our expectations (in fact cleaner than we left it) and she communicated with us perfectly before and throughout the house sit. Suz was a fantastic house and dog sitter. I was away for eight weeks and when she collected me from the airport and brought me home I felt I had never been away. No hassles, clean and tidy and a very happy dog. Suz also prepared dinner for me and did lots of baking which she has filled my fridge with. A very natural and easy going person. We knew from the moment we spoke to Suz that our four legged friend would be in good hands. Suz communicated well, took excellent care of the house, our dog and was just an absolutely pleasure to have here. She shared her knowledge of gardening and her love of food with us. Next long holiday we will be contacting her without questions.
From the moment we contacted Suz we liked her ! We were away for 11 weeks and every couple of weeks had messages and pictures from her telling us how Rosie, our much loved dog was, we even got to talk to Rosie on a call which was lovely. Suz looked after our golden retriever pup Beau for five weeks while we were overseas.
During our time away Suz kept us well updated on Beau: communication was excellent. On our return our home was immaculate, Suz had provided thoughtful extra touches such as baking and even gardening.
Beau was relaxed and happy with Suz; she has a natural affinity with animals and he was very well cared for and exercised in spite of stormy winter weather.
Suz was an absolute amazing sitter. my dog was so well looked after and in love with Suz that the first night I was home he slept with Suz lol. Our Maggie and Freddie, were gutted when Suz left. She has such good rapport with animals, they felt completely at ease with her. Lovely person, great communicator, and excellent cook. Had a delicious meal done for us on our return. Fitted well into our family life. Fun person to have around.
Suz was fantastic and flexible due to Covid to house sit for 3.5 months. When the border opened, she kindly delivered our car to Auckland airport for us to drive home. It was great to come home with the house, and veggie and flower gardens well looked after with our plums, blueberries and raspberries all picked and in our freezer that she superbly organised.
