Hi there, we’re Jodie and Jerry, a proactive and respectful couple from China, currently based in Wellington.

We love to travel and spend time in nature, trekking and exploring. We share an interest in art, technology, architecture and fitness. We love meeting new people and taking care of their furry companions, which is why we love housesitting. Animals, nature, movies, and food are our true passions.

Our experience with pet care runs deep - we volunteered for two years at an animal welfare organization and raised a Golden Retriever (adopted from a shelter) and a domestic shorthair cat (rescued) back home. We’ve also completed many house-sitting assignments, caring for pets ranging from cats to dogs and rabbits.

As non-smokers and naturally organized individuals, we treat both properties and pets with the utmost care. Clear communication and mutual understanding are essential to us, and we enjoy working with thoughtful homeowners. Personally we prefer a quick video call first, saving time for both parties.

Honestly, if Jodie & Jerry apply to be your housesitters, you've struck it lucky, POUNCE on them!! They adore any and all fur babies and took such loving care of ours, and sent email updates complete with anecdotes and photos every few days. (This was the frequency we requested but if you like more/less than that, they will do what you request, I've no doubt.) They followed our detailed instructions for the pets, and we came home to a clean and tidy home. Watering the garden in summer is a pain ... MORE
