I am a retired schoolteacher.My wife and I have had 17 years of living on a lifestyle block before moving to Napier. On the lifestyle block we managed a variety of animals including horses, cattle , sheep, goats, hens,as well as cats and dogs! Prior to my teaching career, I was dairy farming/ share milking, for 9 years, so have had plenty of experience with managing animals.We no longer have a dog, so please ignore where it says "will bring a pet". Our house-sitting jobs over the last 5 years have been mainly rural, caring for a wide range of animals.

Ron and Joy were fabulous house-sitters. They made sure they were available prior to the sit to become familiar with everything to ensure the animals were well looked after. They did a superb job with our dog, cat and birds. Willow just LOVED them. Our house was spotless on our return and well cared for. I highly recommend Ron and Joy for house-sitting. Thank you!
