Hi, dear house owners. My English name is Daisy. I'm a 33-year-old NZ resident, originally from China. I have been living, working and travelling in NZ for more than four years. I moved to Christchurch in October 2023 because Christchurch is my favourite city, and I started doing housesitting job since November 2023. I enjoyed looking after fur babies and gardens. To be honest, housesitting time is one of the best times that I have ever had, I feel passionate about housesitting jobs and I want to keep doing it for long term.
Brief self-introduction. I never smoke and I only drink a little alcohol. I enjoy solitude and I only socialize a little bit. In November 2023, I enrolled in the master program of applied computing at Lincoln University. I spend most of my time studying online and building web applications etc on my laptop. I plan to become a digital nomad and keep doing housesitting jobs. In my spare time, I like walking dogs and going hiking. I am happy to walk your dog every day and I can occasionally take your dog to have short distance walk with other people and dogs from Meetup group. I also like cuddling fur babies and giving them massage. I have finished all the academic courses for my study in November 2024. Now, I am looking for a work-from-home job or internship. Before I find a job, I can only confirm housesitting jobs with house owners who do not mind their pets being left at home during the day, so that I can keep my flexibility for interview or casual work. During my housesit, please do not send your friends or relatives to visit your house and me without asking my permission. It is good to tell as less people as possible that I live in your house alone. Please let me know if there are cameras.
Daisy took great care of our home, house plants, and cat while we were away for 6.5 weeks. When we returned home, the house was clean and tidy, just as we had left it. Daisy has good communication and we received regular pictures of our cat to know she was settling in ok. Daisy is kind and caring, we would highly reccommend her to anyone.
Our primary concern with engaging a house sitter was not the house, but Zack, our dog. We were fortunate to be able to meet Daisy before engaging her. We were very impressed, Zack was also. Within a very short time he was lying on her feet.
Daisy took good care of our house and dog and should the need arise in the future we would love to have her back.
Daisy was a fantastic housesitter for us, taking great care of the house and our pets - including mowing the lawns and leaving the house clean and tidy. Daisy was communicative throughout, and came for a visit before the sit. While we were away, Daisy had to deal with a really difficult situation and did so responsibly, making the right calls in tricky circumstances. Thanks Daisy!
Daisy is a lovely person who left our house spotless, and our pets happy, and kept us posted with photos.
I think she found our big boisterous dog a bit overwhelming at first but got used to him!
I would highly recommend Daisy to house sit. Her communication was great. I felt very comfortable going away and leaving Daisy to look after our fur baby. Will definitely being using her again.
Daisy took wonderful care of my two dogs. She is calm and loving which made my dogs feel very secure with her.

There is nothing more secure than having people at home while you're away. Get a house sitter.
