Hello!
My name is Dee and I am available to house sit your home & pets.

I am a retired nurse who is available to sit anywhere in the South Island
Since retiring I have been travelling in my motorhome
I am now fully available to housesit/pet sit from April 2025

I have a 12 yr old Birman cat that travels & stays within my motor home, she considers it home .Mocha is fully enclosed and will not impact in any way with your home environments.

I sit free of charge
I currently reside in the Canterbury region.
I’m happy to stay in my MH for a sit if you prefer but there would need to be room for it to be parked.

I was a member of Aussie house sitters from 2016 to 2019 prior to Covid pet/house sitting in Perth . I have included some of their reviews from the owners at the bottom of this profile
I have a lifetime love for animals, a legacy of having grown up on a sheep farm when young.
I have also utilised this service for many years as a home owner whilst I was working abroad.

“ Dee is a good communicator and well organised person. She sent me cat pictures during the holiday. When I came back from holiday my cat was still sitting on the couch and looked at me as if I never left. No jumping, no whining, no scratching. She was so calm and happy. I was happily amazed. She also applied Neocort cream 3 times a day for my cat. The wound healed quickly. The house was clean and tidy. She gave me positive experience about having a house sitter. It is way better than cattery if house sitter is like Dee. I can't thank her enough.

“What a pleasure and good fortune we have just experienced with having Dee sit for us while away on a break. From the first moment she entered our home for a meet and greet and dropped down to the floor to meet our fur babies I knew she was the right person for us. She even changed her shifts of part time work to accommodate our dogs who are used to having company for most of the day. She became comfortable in our home and cared for it as if it was her own, spotless on our return. With regular walks, two a day, our fur babies were spoilt rotten and we know they were "loved" while we were away from them. Many thanks to a lovely Kiwi lady who is welcome back to our home anytime again. Hope to see you again next year Dee.
