Kia ora! My fiancé and I are experienced house and pet sitters who adore animals.

My partner, Athen, works as builder so is great with handling all the practical aspects of caring for a home. He also has a real way with animals and pets bond with him quickly.(I joke that your animals may become more clingy than when you left them!)

I have a background in childcare, having worked for many years as a nanny, which honed my ability to care not just for children but also for homes and pets. Though new to online platforms, I have a wealth of experience through word-of-mouth referrals and am meticulous about home care, keeping your space tidy and welcoming for when you return.

We have always loved animals and will treat your furry friends like family. We love to be outdoors, so your pets will be taken on lots of adventures (you can expect lots of pictures!).

Cat & Athen were amazing house sitters, they kept us up to date the whole time we were away and left our house extremely tidy. Couldn't have asked for more from house sitters. Both pets missing them!!! Would definitely recommend them for house sitting and would have them back!!

Catherine and Athen were wonderful sitters for us. We were able to meet up a couple of times before the sit, and they were both very friendly and attentive. While looking after our pets, they developed lovely bonds with them - our dog was spoiled with walks to a variety of places, and our standoffish cat became a contented lap cat. We couldn’t be happier with how Catherine and Athen looked after our place whilst we were away overseas for three weeks. Their communication was excellent before and during their stay. It was wonderful to come back to our home that was as clean if not cleaner than how we left it. The chickens were healthy and happy, so they did an excellent job in that regard too. We would use Catherine and Athen again to housesit in a heartbeat and highly recommend them to others.
