Hello homeowners and pet lovers!

I am a local retired Solicitor interested in any opportunities in Nelson/Tasman but longer sits are preferred.

I am an experienced owner of cats and dogs and have a genuine love for animals. I have also cared for horses, tropical fish, and sheep during my many housesits.

Respecting other people's property and privacy comes very naturally for me so you can take comfort that your house and pets are safe with me in your absence. I am very clean and tidy.

Mark was excellent at communicating and catching up with us before the house sit, and looked after the house like it was his own, Jazz our cat is a real “scaredy cat” but Mark managed to make friends with him. Mark communicated with me while we were away to settle my mind that jazz was Ok, and we got home to a spotlessly clean house, I’d recommend him to anyone and would happily have him housesit again.

Mark, although wasn't a horsey person stepped up to the Challenge and looked after my 2 horses whilst we were away. On return the horses were happy and the paddocks were lovely and clean . The house was well cared for and our Dog and Cat seemed to really like Mark.

We have nervous cats, so getting a good fit with a sitter is always important. We were reassured the cats were happily sleeping on the bed with Mark and demanding tummy rubs within just a few days. When we returned the cats were happy and relaxed, which was great!
