Hi there,

We are mature home owners and experienced house sitters and home exchangers, having adopted this travel mode for over 20 years.

We retired in 2023 and have spent the last year travelling through Scandinavia, Europe, UK and Ireland, with 5 star reviews on Trusted Housesitters.

Before retiring, Roger’s career spanned decades in senior management in tourism, conservation, education and government. He also spent 10 years as an officer in the Australian Army Reserve and for five years has taught English to speakers of other languages (TESOL qualified).

Penny’s travel destiny was initiated when, at 18 years old, following her NZ Mothercraft nurse training, she was offered a Nanny position in London to an esteemed family with royal connections. This relationship has continued for over 50 years with regular communication now to the grandchildren of her former employers. She also completed a Dip Arts (Interior Design) and this has enabled her love of design and architecture to flourish.

In 2025, we would like to spend some time in the South Island of NZ (my birthplace) and enjoy the wonderful food and wine scene that NZ has to offer as well as the awesome scenery.

Our recent house minding roles have included the care of dogs, cats and chickens and ducks, as well as the most important task of maintaining the homes and providing owners with the necessary security and peace of mind to enable them to enjoy their holiday.

We are fit and healthy world travellers, with a passion for exploring new places and look forward to meeting you and your family pets and animals very soon.
