Melanie & Rick & Sam

We had Melanie, Rick and Sam do an online meet and greet with us before their stay. They understood my concerns around not giving my dog time to meet them prior to the housesit so they made sure they were staying close by so we could all spend time together the weekend before which completely put our minds to rest. While away we had daily communication with heaps of photos. Our Dog Marley was exercised Rain or shine and even taken for outings with them. Our cats were also spoilt. Sam particularly bonded with our cat Layla and spent time playing with her and making an incredible box home/playground! Our home was immaculate upon returning also! We truly could not be more grateful for this lovely family and the bond we now have. 🙏🏽

Melanie and Sam house sat for me and my dog and cat. I couldn’t have asked for a better first house sitting experience. From the moment I met them I felt at ease with my decision to chose them. They took great care of my pets and house. Which means a lot, as my dog is very anxious when I am absent. They played, cared for and included them in their day. In my return, my house was in tidy clean state, in fact I’d say even cleaner than I left it. Thanks so much you guys rock.

Mel regularly updated us on any news to do with our dog Rissole, and regularly sent fabulous artistic photos, of Rissole, and the vegetables and flowers, in our garden. She also maintained the seedlings and plants in our hothouse, without us asking her to do so, and we came back to a house ... Melanie, Rick and Sam house sat our three large dogs at our off the grid property. They were wonderful in every way don't think the dogs even missed us. Melanie sent photo's and updates which was really nice. I would highly recommend them for any other sit. We wish them well in their travels and hope to see them again.

Mel, Rick and Sam were wonderful house sitters. We have never used house sitters before, and I think we may have just been spoilt with how wonderful they were! Communication prior to the house sitting was already very good and once we left, we received regular updates and lovely photographs of all our animals. We were very grateful for that, it made our time away a very relaxed holiday. We could tell as we got back home that all animals had been loved and cared for as if they were their own. We also wanted them to meet us as the partnership does go both ways and a level of comfort for us was immediate. Rating the level of care from 1 star to 5 is fine but we would still give these three a 10 out of 5. After many hours traveling back to NZ from India with two young children it was so welcoming to arrive home to an immaculately c house, lawns and grounds ... Melanie, Rick and Sam were terrific house sitters. We came home to a beautifully clean and tidy house with sheets and towels all washed and dried and our bed made up and a happy dog.

We were lucky to have Melanie and Samuel stay for the weekend. They were FABULOUS, taking great care of all our 4-legged family members and it was an added treat arriving home to such a tidy house. It's not an easy ask looking after our vast range of animals and Melanie took it all in her stride. If you are looking for the perfect house guests, look no further!
