Retired and ready to go!

Wendy: 64, Retired

Tura: 63, Retired; part time musician

Reliable ex-professionals, we are animal-loving home bodies. We are recently retired, with plenty of time to give to your beloved pets. We’ve owned cats and dogs in the past and we hope to in the future, once we are settled again. Over the years, we have also looked after many pets for our neighbours and friends.

We love going for walks: it’s our main form of exercise now. We also enjoy reading or watching TV – activities that are only enhanced with a puss cat or pooch to settle in with. We are experienced gardeners, and happy to tend to gardens, lawns and houseplants. We are non-smokers.

Wendy is a gem of a woman and I'm so glad she decided to come all the way from New Zealand to take care of my place and my cat, Mai Mai. I received plenty of photos while I was OS, which is always a great comfort. The place was lovely and tidy on my return and the house plants and Mai were happy and healthy. I would recommend Wendy to anyone wanting a down to earth and caring sitter. Thanks again, Wendy!
