We are heading home to NZ after 30 years in Australia, near the end of Jan 2025, available for house sitting from 27th Jan 2025. we are hoping to settle in the Franklin area where our son, his wife and 2 grandchildren live. We thought housesitting would give us an awesome chance to look around the North island and decide exactly where we'd like to settle. It also gives us a chance to live in a home with pets again and guarantee lots of pats and love.
I keep myself active by walking or running every day, I have a goal to run the Auckland marathon the year I turn 70, 2026.
Currently we are without any furbabies having lost our beautiful blue heeler to cancer just as we were arranging her transport to NZ. We love all animals, don't mind if we have to give meds or any special needs. So long as there are instructions I'll give anything a go.

I was very happy to meet Pam and Steve. They made a separate trip to Tauranga to meet with me (and my dog and cat), prior to agreeing on housesitting - it was instantly apparantly that they are genuine animal lovers and would take good care of my place. My rather energetic spoodle was in good hands with long walks and both cat and dog seemed very happy with their house guests. The house was immaculate upon my return and both animals very happy. Pam & Steve are lovely couple, easy to communicate with, Very Clean and tidy and even did some extra gardening for us, & very important watering gardens & indoor plants. Did a great job with both our little dogs took them for walks & lots of attention. Cows, chickens, and sheep were looked after well too. We would definitely recommend Pam & Steve to anyone looking for House Sitters and would have again if dates suited. THANK YOU Pam & Steve
