I am a Canadian who loves New Zealand and will be returning for the summer of 2025. I am available for house sits from Jan. 9 to the end of March.. I have a particular soft spot for cats. My first profession was veterinary with a specialization in small animal medicine. My license to practice lapsed many years ago but I can make general assessments and give medications. My second vocation is ordained ministry in the Anglican Church of Canada from which I retired three years ago. I will provide the best of care for your pet(s) and treat your property with respect. If your garden needs some light loving I would enjoy doing that too. If you are registered with Airbnb you may see my reviews there. While I am house/pet sitting I would hope to be able to explore your area of NZ and go walking.

Carolyn was an amazing house sitter, worked in with us which enabled us to leave a night earlier than planned.
Pets were very well looked after & we came home to a house that was perfect .

Carolyn looked after my house and cat for a month. I can highly recommend her. My cat was happy and fat as usual on return and the house was very clean and tidy. Carolyn also kept me informed via email as to how things were going so I was never worried about my place or the cat.
With a house sitter looking after your pets, house and garden - you can really relax. Happy days.
