My name is Andy. I'm a single, non-smoker, dual national (Kiwi/UK) having returned from living and working in the UK for 20+ years.

Originally from Palmerston North, I visited the UK in 2003 with the intention of staying a few weeks - it turned into two decades!
Have just returned from 5 months in India.

I work in IT for government and the private sector having focused on IT Security and a variety of hands-on technical team lead positions.

Have a variety of 'clearances' (Police and others) which help prove my trustworthiness to some of the highest levels within government and by extension I believe to my life outside of work.

Am currently studying Artificial Intelligence remotely.

Am enjoying taking a step-back from the hustle and intensity of my old life to reset back into New Zealand life.
Have 3 sisters and a brother in New Zealand and lots of friends springled around the country.

Am very excited to spend some time travelling and settling back into New Zealand life again after having missed great coffee, friendly people and clean air!

Enjoy time with pets and feel connected to them (cats and dogs in particular) and I enjoy time on the land and the great Kiwi outdoors. This is something I have missed from my time in UK as I often lived in hotels.

I enjoy a bit of gardening especially ensuring other people's hard work is maintained while they are away whether that's a bit of watering or weeding.
