Sam & Ginny

We're a mostly retired couple from the USA and lived in NZ (Auckland) from 2012 to 2018. We've recently landed back in NZ from California, but this time in the Wellington area. We've done house sits in various states in the U.S. and in NZ and have truly loved taking care of people's pets and homes while they're away traveling. We had a dog (Scout) for twelve years, who we miss dearly, but our recent lifestyle has made it difficult to welcome another pet into our lives. Being able to spend time with animals through house sits has helped to fill that void! We are very conscientious and responsible and always do our best to leave the house in as good (or better?) shape as we found it. We are also quite handy and resourceful so are well-equipped to handle any issues that may arise around the house. Lastly, we're a very active couple so if you have a dog(s) who need exercise, we can definitely help out!
