Hello! We are a couple from the US traveling through New Zealand in our van for the year on a working holiday. Through our travels we are looking to connect with the beautiful landscapes, animals and the people of NZ.

Before coming to New Zealand we both worked in travel education planning, facilitating, and mentoring young adults abroad. We love the outdoors, animals, cooking, music and much more!

While in the US we have both house/animal sat for everything from apartments with indoor-only pets to small ranches. We both have looked over properties and house sort term and longer term. We take pride in our cleanliness and are always respectful of people's space and homes. We enjoy strolls around the neighborhoods and mellow evenings cooking and enjoying the company of sweet animals.

We are going to be all over NZ for the next year and are roughly in these locations for the months listed below:
- October - Northlands / Waikato
- November - Nelson
- December - Otago

Sierra and Hailey were true treasures to have look after my wee bunny rabbit. From the start they were easy and reliable to communicate with. Their care for Daisy was incredible. I could tell they were really kind people immediately, and they took great care of Daisy. She was healthy and happy when I got home, which was lovely because she is usually a bit grumpy when I've left her! Sierra and Hailey are true gems and were our first housesitters we have experienced. We had excellent communication from the get go, and they kept us informed throughout our trip on WhatsApp with cute photos of our babies. We had major anxiety leaving our pets for the first time, but we needn't have worried. Our pets were loved and cared for like they were their own. Our home was obviously well looked after and perfect to come home to. Highly recommend these lovely ladies to anyone!

Would totally recommend Sierra & Hailey for future house sits. We arrived back after 5 weeks away, and the house was immaculate. The upkeep of our spa was no problem for them. Our cat Frank took to them really well. They sent us pictures along the way, which gave us piece of mind that Frank was doing great and all else was well.
