I have lived and worked on Waiheke Island for 38 years with a spell in Bulls where I enjoyed living on a farm for 6 years. My partner Peter then retired and we returned to Waiheke.
I was a primary school teacher teaching juniors most of my working life with a bit of hospo thrown in for variety.
I also did he SPCA inspectors course and worked as a volunteer inspector on Waiheke. Also in Wellington before I came to Waiheke I was on animal ambulance duty in the weekends also for SPCA.
I have two girls one lives on Waiheke with 2 small boys and the other lives in Queensland and has three daughters. Their life revolves around horses and eventing.
Now my partner is in dementia care I am free to travel and look forward to caring for your animals, plants and home. I have a small dog Mini Cooper a rather sassy and energetic Chihuahua/Papillon.
I have had a variety of animals at times from pet rats (marvellous classroom pets) to chooks and horses.
I now live in a retirement village on Waiheke Island an easy lock and leave arrangement. I'm looking forward to the variety of house sits this site offers.
