Having been the owner and operator of Murchison lodge B & B which has now sold at the end of Nov. 2017 and have been having a little time off to recharge the system I see that I am now in a position to come back to NZ around the start of May 2024. I am obviously accustom to managing a commercial accommodation business and see no problems with sitting a residential home. Also as I have had pets of our own in the past and looked after both cattle and sheep at the lodge because of the acreage. Whilst I am more than happy to fit in to most situations I would prefer locations that are not 500 kilometers from nowhere as I not a vet and I would expect to be able to provide the right care if so be it necessary.
In the past I have been a civil engineer and also a viticulturist so my knowledge base is quite broad. So with my diverse background which includes some military experience I believe that I could assist you in your need to have a house sitter that would meet you needs.

Stephen and Jeanette provided excellent house and pet care while we were away. Their communication went above and beyond what we expected and we were thrilled by the level of care our dog received. They are a lovely, conscientious and responsible couple and we would both heartily recommend their service. We would have them back again in a heartbeat. Five stars all round.

Stephen and Jeanette were amazing. They are on a house sitting holiday from Australia. They looked after our home and animals super well, even had a first hand experience of new lambs being born. We are so grateful to them both and would highly recommend. A lovely gift and card was left for us also which was very kind and generous of them . 😊

Stephen and Jeanette were great to have in our house. They went above and beyond. Lulu was sad to see them go to the extent that she went around the house looking for them two days later. They were extremely caring, kind and considerate. The house was left better than when we departed.
