I am a young thinking, healthy and mobile woman in my seventies, born in New Zealand, but world travelled through my public service work, which I have now retired from. I am single and taking this opportunity to travel and learn about my own country. I enjoy people, pets, cooking, music, languages, reading, theatre and learning about other cultures.
I would be really happy to care for your loved ones while you are away having a relaxing time on holiday.

We arrived back from our holiday (Claire picked us up from the airport) to a lovely clean and tidy house, flourishing plants and a happy dog. Claire was great at communicating and sending little photos of Woody our dog. We would happily recommend Claire as a house sitter.

Our cat was content and well cared for. The house was left in a tidy state and we enjoyed the great communication whilst we were away. Claire was friendly and easy to deal with.

Claire fitted well into our community, enjoying the facilities. She was well liked by the other residents as she is friendly and relates well. Unfortunately, the kitchen was left in an undesirable state. We had to clean the sinks, airfryer, microwave, stove top and oven before we could use them. She herself rated her plant care at 2 out of 10. Charlie Brown was obviously treated well but our instructions were not followed.

Claire’s been minding my house, cat and dog in Taupō for three weeks. I felt, as always, a bit apprehensive leaving, but Claire really reassured me, as I instantly saw her connect with my animals. Claire is a sweet and very interesting person and clearly, very independent. Such a pleasure to meet her, and am very grateful.

Claire is a wonderful house sitter and great with animals. She kept in regular contact before our departure. Our dog was well loved while we were away and Claire sent us pictures and communicated with us while we were away. She cooked us a very nice meal on our return. I can highly recommend her.

Claire was amazing! Clear , plentiful communication right from the outset Fletch the dog is usually a bit standoffish when people come to the door , but not with Claire. He went straight to her: The house was maintained perfectly Would highly recommend her to anyone

Claire was an absolute pleasure to have in our home & take care of our cat & dog. We were away 1 mth & the bond Claire developed with our pets was amazing. We enjoyed her company a couple of days before & after & got to know about her interesting life. Can throughly recommend Claire & happy to be contacted, Claire left with an open invitation to stay with us any time at all.
