Hello there!

We are a non-smoking couple from Hungary working in Opua and Paihia.
We love all animals. Since we arrived to New Zealand, we took care of 11 cats, 6 dogs, 6 sheep, 7 cows and 3 fish. 😁

We are responsible, tidy and resilient.

Before house sitting, we did some WOOFing on a farm where we mainly fed poultry, worked with cows and horses, and cleaned the pastures of drift trees with the help of a small trailer tractor. We also did volunteering in Tiritiri Matangi.

Matt currently works as a CNC Machinist in Opua and Niki works in Paihia.

As a hobby Niki is a bird photographer and Matt loves to tinker with microcontrollers, 3D printing and programing.

Niki & Matt are a lovely couple and wonderful house- sitters! They tended to all the jobs necessary on a lifestyle block ..watering, lawns, house cow, pumps etc. It was a treat to return home to an immaculate house and tidy gardens😊 They were very respectful and appreciative, and communication was great. Highly recommended!

Niki and Matt were fantastic. We arrived home after a month to a very happy and content cat, mowed lawns and a clean house and it was just great not to have to worry about anything while we were away. We live on 5 acres with cows, they moved the cows and fed them out and took care of a few etc jobs that need to be done on a rural property. They stayed in contact with us throughout our holiday and made friends with our cat who doesn't make friends with just anybody! So they obviously have the ... MORE

Had Niko & Matt a few days before we left. They were amazing with our fur kids , Niko helped mix medication for Bruin and made sure he was walked each day at his pace. We came home to very happy and loved animals and a clean home. The bonus was making new friends as well. Can’t speak highly enough…thank you both so much 💛

Niko & Matt are wonderful. We have three large dogs and they were very well looked after, I'm sure house was cleaner than I left it. Would highly recommend them.
