Terry & myself are active retirees who love animals, any animals.
We live in beautiful Kerikeri ........ we don't at the moment have fur babies so enjoy taking care of other people's. We are also volunteer dog walkers for the SPCA. Over the years we have had dogs, cats, birds, hens and sheep.
You can be assured that we will take good care of both your home and your pets as if they were our own.
We have excellent references (see below) from several house sits we have done in the past.

Terry and Barbara are the best house-sitters you could wish for. We found them totally responsible and the house and garden were in perfect order when we returned from holiday.

Barbara & Terry house sat and looked after our two miniature Schnauzers for 3 weeks while we were overseas.
We cannot recommend Barbara & Terry more highly, our house was kept in fantastic condition, and everything was perfect for our arrival home.
This is our first experience of having people we did not know move into our house and look after our wee dogs, with wonderful people like Barbara & Terry you can rest assured that everything will be fine when you arrive back home.
Barbara & Terry made us feel very comfortable in the knowledge that our house, contents, and most importantly for us our dogs were going to be well cared for.
From our first meeting the day Barbara & Terry arrived we knew we had chosen great people, trustworthy, friendly, and what a great job they did, we arrived back home and it was as though we had never left home, that for us was the mark of two very special people.
While away we kept in contact by Email, which gave us piece of mind, as we have never left the dogs with total strangers, we could tell that the dogs had been loved and well cared for.
Thank you Barbara & Terry you are very special people, and anyone fortunate enough to have you house sit for them will like us be very grateful for doing an excellent and caring job, if 5 stars is excellence, then we have to say our rating is SIX plus.

TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN,

We were delighted to have Barbara and Terry housesit our rural property for a period
of two weeks in September/October 2009. Upon
meeting them we were immediately put at ease and
felt most comfortable leaving our property in
their capable hands.

Barbara and Terry were most happy to undertake
additional farming related activities and our
pets, Basil, Tammy (cats) and 'the chooks'
seemed almost sad upon our return, due to the
high standard of care and attention they
received!

On our return, our house was immaculate (didn't
stay so for long!) and we felt sad at fare welling our
new friends.
