Kia Ora Pet Parents,

My name is Lilly. I’m from Germany and have finished school this year (2024). I have decided to travel to New Zealand to attend a language school and do Work & Travel before starting my studies.

Although I do not have professional experience in housesitting, I’m a pet owner myself, which has given me valuable insights into the needs and well-being of animals. I have a Samoyed dog named "Sammy" and an old black-and-white cat named "Snooky." I’m responsible and ensure that my own pets are always well cared for. So I understand that pets are more than just an animal, but a valued and loved member of the family.

My little sister and I have often cared for birds that have fallen from their nests or were caught by our cat.

I am ready to take care of pets, meet their feeding and care needs, and ensure their safety. Additionally, I have a good sense of home management and am very reliable, because I have already lived in my own apartment for three years and as I have worked as a waitress in a reputable restaurant in Germany.

I also have experience in caring for plants, as I take care of my own houseplants and regularly help my mother in the garden.

I love meeting new people, exploring new places and being active. Also, I adore crochet and I love music and dancing. I don’t smoke.
