Kia ora! My name is Kat and I am a knitwear designer with a small brand (Goldi Knitwear) from Auckland. I am an animal lover with plenty of experience caring for cats, dogs, fish, and chickens. I am reliable, responsible and trustworthy and take pride in maintaining a clean and tidy space. I have been house sitting full time since November 2023 and absolutely adore all the joy and freedom it brings. I love keeping owners updated with photos and videos of their fur babies for peace of mind while they are away.
I work from home knitting garments that I sell online. When I’m not knitting I love going for walks, op shopping, drinking coffee and listening to music.
I have experience looking after dogs (both big and small, puppies and elderly), cats, birds, chickens, and most recently I’ve gained experience with sheep and a pony. You are in good hands with me!
Kat is such a delight. We had a familiarization night the night before I left and really enjoyed her company. Cassie was well looked after and could see by the pictures well loved. The house was left clean and tidy and communication was great. Highly recommend her and so do the locals who met her at social gatherings on the beach. One neighbor has already booked her in November.

We had the privilege of having Kat house sit for us, kat arrived the night before to meet our pets and for us to give her a run down on things she should know, from the moment we met we knew we could put our trust in Kat to look after our baby's and house, Kat did a wonderful job and the animals enjoyed her company, highly recommend and would not hesitate to ask if she could do it again in the future.

She works from the house she is house sitting so is around for the security and care of pets.

Kat made herself available a couple of days before we left. She immediately bonded with our dog, Jack and gave him lots of attention. She quickly took note of Jack's normal routine, walking, playing, trips to the park, beach and local village. We were very happy to leave Jack in Kat's care. Kat's communication was very good while we were away and we received very positive feedback from all our neighbours.
