Marika and Daniel were excellent house sitters. We received regular communication, the pets were well cared for and we came home to a spotless house. Highly recommend them.

Hello and thank you for finding our profile.
We are a Swedish couple in our 30s that've been together for 9 years and now looking for housesitting opportunities all over NZ. Marika is a secondary and high-school teacher and work remotely from home, wherever home might be. Daniel was an electrician in Sweden. We left a few dogs and cats back home in Sweden, so would love to look after your pets while you are away on vacation. We are very tidy and clean, and Daniel is very handy so don't hesitate to ask if you need help with anything. Right now we’re doing a lot of maintenance work on our van, so if you have tools for us to borrow or a parking space to use we would be grateful!
We love this concept and have done a few house sits in the Northland. But will drive down towards the South Island sometime in December. Everyone we have stayed with can agree with that we are very tidy and trustworthy (and love animals!).

It was our first time using kiwihousesitters, so I was a little apprehensive. We have a lot of property and animal’s to care for. I need not have worried, we came home to happy animals, I think they are still missing their new friends actually! :). Marika and Daniel were wonderful! Awesome communicators and we had an amazing time away, because of them. Highly recommend!
Marika and Daniel came to farmsit for us for a week and we asked them to stay and sit for another few days as we had to go away again. This also gave them the opportunity to renovate their van. We appreciated that although they had no experience with sheep and cattle they embraced the opportunity and the stock were safe and well.
What a superb find! This wonderful couple were so responsible, loved New Zealand and they didn’t ’do pet care’ they took the dog on adventures and sent regular photos. . I feel fortunate they were available and you will have the same good care too.
These guys were the best, dogs happy and getting loads of cuddles. The house was spotless when we got back and the dogs were very happy. 100% would recommend Marika and Daniel. AAA +
Make sure the garden and pot plants are thriving when you get back - get a house sitter.
