I'm a Lecturer and a digital costume designer looking for new pet friends in the Wellington area. I tend to spend my summers in Auckland and a couple of months per year in Europe, but my work and NZ whānau are in Wellington, therefore I live in the area regularly.
I spend my free time running, hiking, bouldering, playing piano and video games, tending a garden and hanging out with pet friends. Sometimes I draw concept art for games or plan for the next kayaking/hiking/cycling adventure.
I’m experienced as a dog/cat caretaker, but equally interested in looking after birds and other pets. I’d love to look after farm animals, but unfortunately my skill level with larger animals only allows me to keep them company.
Heli was a great house sitter and she took such good care of my cat. She was really good with sending photos throughout my trip and I came back to a spotless house. I would absolutely have Heli sit for me again, and would recommend her for other sitters

Recently, Heli house-sat for me and cared for my dog, Boomer. Her service was exceptional. Boomer was well-fed, exercised, and seemed to adore her. Her animal affection was evident in her interactions with him.
She not only cared for Boomer but also kept my home clean and orderly. She respected my space, leaving it as tidy as she found it.

Heli cared for our two dogs while we were overseas last year. Heli was so kind, responsive to messages, and the dogs immediately loved her. We were nervous leaving them for the first time, but after we met Heli, we felt so comfortable! Our puppies had the greatest month; going for long walks and adventures and then spending the evenings sleeping while Heli worked. She took excellent care of our dog, walking her regularly and giving her lots of love and attention.
The house was left really clean and tidy with laundry for the beds etc already done for me when I returned home.
