Hey lovely people!

My name is Danielle! I am a 28 year old photographer! I have been traveling the world solo for 3 years now and feel overjoyed to be settling here in New Zealand! What a blessing of a life!! My plan is to continue exploring each city as a potential place to live.

I started my house sitting journey in Australia with a beautiful Border Collie and fell in love with the whole process! When I came to NZ, I knew that house sitting for others was the perfect way for me to spend time with beautiful animals while getting to know the areas!

I am so grateful for every opportunity I've had so far and I am very excited to continue this house sitting journey for many years to come!

I love looking after animals and giving them lots of attention & snuggles - especially being a solo traveler - there’s nothing like some cute animals to cheer up my day and give me some company!

Growing up we had gorgeous little Shih Tzu dog named, Nina! Over the years I’ve gained extensive experience looking after dogs, cats and fish. I bring a calm, loving, attentive spirit which helps form a unique connection with animals straight away!

A few more things to note ~

I'm originally from the USA! While living there I used to run my own Airbnb! I was also the Property Manager for my family's rentals which gave me extensive experience with looking after homes!

I am a quiet person with a very relaxed schedule. I am on vacation this year which gives me heaps of time to be at home with your fur babies. I do not smoke, drink or party. My happy place is being out in nature in silence!

If I could give 6 stars for Danielle, then I would do so. Her calming nature meant our 4 year old cat fell in love with her immediately. Over the period of a month that we were away, Danielle regularly updated us and for the first time ever I did not worry about the wellbeing of our pet! Additionally, the house was kept beautifully. Danielle was fabulous, she kept us in the loop on arrival and departure timing and sent us photos of our dog while we were away. We came back to the house spotless with all the washing done and she even folded the towels we accidentally left in the dryer! We would definitely have her back at any time!

It was such a pleasure to know that Danielle was here to care for my greyhound and the house. She is fantastic with dogs and was not fazed that Bert needs medication every day. Danielle kept in touch really well while I was away and I knew everything was in safe hands. I came back to find a very happy and healthy dog and an immaculately clean house. Couldn't ask for more! Being first time users of a house-sitter, Danielle put us right at ease, which made the whole process so much easier. Danielle has great and punctual communication skills and is highly organised. Danielle looked after our home, plants and kitty for a few days in October. Communication was easy, and we came home to our house just as we left it. She wasn't available for the entire time we were away so she even stopped by again later to pop a parcel inside and check on our kitty and plants. Highly recommend.

Danielle has been such a great house and more importantly pet sitter. Going away for nearly 6 weeks and leaving your fur babies can be a bit stressful. Our rescue dog in particular is not great with new people, but Danielle was so good with him, and he seemed to take to her calm presence immediately.
