Lissy & Christoph

Hi, Christoph and Lissy here! We are a animal loving couple from beautiful Bavaria, Germany, and we’ve been traveling across Aotearoa since the beginning of November. We’re a relaxed, responsible couple with a great passion for animals. Currently, we’re traveling in a minivan and are looking for a place to stay for a while and calm down, so a housesitting job would be perfect for us. If we could also look after your pets, it would be an even greater pleasure for us. :)

We both grew up in the countryside just an hour away from Munich and have always had pets around – from dogs and cats to farm animals. We understand firsthand how important it is to take good care of pets, especially when their owners are away for a while. We can relate to how difficult it is to leave your animals in someone else’s care, and we make sure to provide them with the best attention and love possible.

We also have experience in garden care since we both have a big yard at home and know how important it is to keep plants well-maintained, whether it’s watering or handling small tasks around the garden.

We are non-smokers, very respectful, clean and take it for granted to return your house in the same condition as before. We know this job is a big responsibility and we will do our best to take care of your pets and your house. We both stay calm in stressful situations and make sure everything is well taken care of – whether it’s the house, the garden, or the animals. We would also send you updates while you’re away to make your journey worry-free, if you’d like.
