Hello! We are Shannon & Luke 😊

We are from the UK.
We have just arrived in New Zealand on a year's working holiday visa with large amounts of eagerness to begin our adventures.

Our main passion back home was to be out in the wilderness, hiking mountains (what little mountains we have), Kayaking and exploring what our world has to offer.

We are two people who thrive off culture and enjoy the simplicities of life!

We are currently working our way around the country exploring as much as possible whilst hoping to find a comfortable home to stay in when given the opportunity.

I have three beautiful German Shepherds back home and Luke has previous experience caring for cats so we are very comfortable looking after your loved ones for you or even just looking after your property. I must mention that Luke is my personal botanist so I can assure you that your plants will be in safe hands 🪴

We are both non smokers and very tidy people that will keep your property looking immaculate! We also have our own vehicle.

We had Shannon and Luke stay in our home looking after our dog and cat for a month. We came back to a clean and tidy home and most importantly, very happy pets! We cannot recommend Luke and Shannon enough to any one who desires responsible and conscientious house and pet sitters.

This was our first time using Kiwi House Sitters and the first time leaving our dog with someone we didn’t know. Shannon and Luke kindly house sat for us at quite short notice and were absolutely fantastic. The house was exactly as we had left it when we returned and our dog was happy and settled. Was really reassuring for us to know our dog Kali was loved and looked after while we were away and offline by Shannon and Luke. All went really smoothly. They also so kindly went out of their way to pick our car up from the mechanic and deliver to my parents house for us as it wasn't ready when we left. The house was super clean and tidy when we get back. Thanks so much to Shannon and Luke and happy to recommend them for future house sits.
