We are Jen and Gary, a couple in our 60s with a zest for life and a love for animals.
Recently free from the constraints of paid work, we live in Nelson and we’re looking forward to embracing this new chapter by rediscovering the beautiful South Island while offering our trustworthy care to your pets and home.
We bring a lifetime of experience, respect, and care into every house-sitting role. Our current apartment lifestyle has us missing the companionship of pets, which makes us all the more enthusiastic to care for yours as if they were our own. Whether it’s daily walks, playtime, or cuddles, your furry friends will receive the love and attention they deserve. Very experienced with "special needs" animals.
As long-time homeowners, we understand the importance of keeping your home safe, secure, and well-maintained in your absence. We’re fit, active, and capable, with no hesitation about handling general garden and house maintenance (just no major landscaping projects, please).
