Very Conscientious Carers

We are an energetic retired couple who enjoy the company of pets. Over the years we have had dogs and cats as family members, as well as various guinea pigs and hamsters. When we were pet owners we shared our home with dogs of various sizes and cats, as well as an elderly diabetic cat who needed insulin injections
We love travel and being out-of-doors. Long walks are one of our hobbies, which we especially enjoy when sharing this with dogs. Our time is flexible and we are car owners. We are keen to travel to meet new pets and experience house-sitting opportunities. Over the years we have owned houses in many different places. We are tidy and well-organised, so coping with pet and household routines is quite normal for us. Both of us enjoy gardening and house maintenance. We are non-smokers.
At present we are based in Auckland. We are keen to visit both North Island and South Island.

This was our first kiwi house sitters experience and Penny and Noel were just wonderful. We were worried about leaving our big beautiful dog who is not very brave, and they were calm, gentle, and very keen to know all the details about Harry so that they could care for him just the way he needed.
