Kia Ora koutou,

Age seems important around here, I am 36 yo, look 18 but behaves 60 :) (very responsible and very much loves my peace and quiet!)

I am new on this site although I have a very wide experience of caring for other peoples places and animals, in New Zealand and overseas.

I used to work as a vetnurse, volunteered in spca, I have been a goatkeeper and a cheesemaker in France, and I even been housesitting wildlife centers/animal sanctuary in New Zealand. I have also been living on a clydesdales farm.
I have solid references to back all this up and people that will be willing to answer your phone call about it if you need to make sure you are picking the right person!

I have dealt with wild cats, "asperger" dogs, wild and extremely difficult horses (although that is not my favourite thing to do!! please have the decency of warning me if I will have to deal with a mad one!), rehabilited birds to wildlife...
I can milk a goat or a cow and can easily administer medications to animals if needed, I am usualy able to detect any trouble they could have. Obviously I love them all dearly and will always make sure all their needs are met!

After years of owning myself a big difficult rescued dog and a pair of cats I m not ready to own animals again. Therefore I just spoil other people s animals with attention anytime I can!
Other than that I am respectful to other people's property and always try to leave it as good as I found it. I am a non smoker and got some notions of gardenning .

Helene is a thoughtful and caring person who did a fantastic job looking after our pets as well as our house. We received great updates of our happy large dog and cat. I was not as organised as I would have liked, but she communicated throughout her stay if/when necessary and really just got on with it. Everything was immaculate when we arrived home. She has a great sense of initiative and exceeded our high expectations.

Helene took care of my cat, Melmo, over a weekend, and I couldn't be more pleased. She communicated excellently and was very confident in caring for an older cat. When I returned, my house was clean and tidy. I highly recommend her for pet and house sitting, and I would love to ask her again.

Helene was a brilliant housesitter. She cared for our spoilt cats as if they were her own. The house was kept beautifully and she communicated cat squabbles and foibles as they occurred. I was so happy Helene looked after my babies. Mystic doesn't like anyone but me. Not with Helene, Mystic loves her and I was so happy to see the videos and photos Helene sent me while I was away. We loved having Helene house and pet sit for us. The dogs loved her and were very happy and relaxed when we got back home. She exercised the dogs as they required, kept them out of trouble and made sure our boy has his meds and supplements. Thanks for leaving the house spotless and even leaving some bread and milk for us, saving us an early morning grocery run. We'd love to have you back when we travel again!

It was a pleasure to look after the local vet's menagerie. I loved the big dogos and Amber the cat. The the house was spacious with cool sunrise views from the bedroom. It was a great shelter during the cyclone.
Helene did a great job of looking after our dogs and home. Nothing was a problem and Griff and Milly were very happy and relaxed on our return. We wouldn't hesitate asking Helene again.
