Hi there! I’m a caring homeowner who has returned from overseas. I’m available to house-sit for the next few months until we can move back into our place in Feb (we were intending to stay in Oz for longer but my daughter hates it there). I would put down a BOND to reassure you of our stay. We are currently staying with my father so we're flexible with dates.

We're also looking for places in a few months time as I'm hoping to renovate my kitchen, so just to get out of the city for a short bit (house-swapping is also an option).

I grew up with dogs, cats, bunnies, and birds, and I also enjoy gardening. I also have a well-behaved 9-year-old who would love to have a pet, but we haven’t had the chance to get one yet, so she has resorted to going to a cat café to get her pet fix :-). We’ve looked after pets in the past, and she would love to look after yours.

We don’t smoke or drink, and we take off our shoes before going into people’s homes. We’re also very good at turning off the lights etc...

We are ideally looking around Central Auckland so she can still attend her school until mid-Dec. After that, we’re open to anywhere in the North Island during the school holidays, from Dec 20 - Jan 31, then back to Central Auckland, except for the weekends where beach stays would be great. (I would never leave her unsupervised at home.)

I’m mostly an editor and writer who works from home. Though this is my first time on Kiwi Housesitting, if you message me, I can provide references, ID, police checks, etc...
