Whole package carers, animal and garden experts!

31, Teacher and animal physiotherapist

36, Horticulturist (specialised in Mediterranean plants)

We are a mature, enthusiastic couple from the UK who love animals, the outdoors and meeting new people.

We decided to housesit as a way of travelling slowly, giving us time to really get to know a place and having an opportunity to live like locals is a great experience.

I am a canine physiotherapist turned lecturer, having taught at an animal and agriculture college in the UK. I educated teens on how to care for and handle over 100+ species, and have worked with rescue animals from all over Europe.
Keble’s professional background is horticulture and landscaping, including tree planting and ground maintenance. He specialises in Mediterranean plants and Olive trees - rest assured that not only will your home and pets be loved and looked after, but your garden will also be maintained to a professional standard.

We really understand how worrying it can be to leave your beloved pets and home with strangers, we always make sure we send regular updates and pictures to make you feel connected and at ease.

We have lots of experience (both professionally and personally) with most animals, whether it be stick insects or cattle, through to family pets, exotic birds, reptiles or goats. Having a particular soft spot for older pets, we rescued our Labrador in her twilight years and nursed her through to the end. We also have a fondness for guineapigs and other small furries, having rescued many along the way.

We've done quite a few puppy sits, and have even helped raise a puppy for the Guide Dogs for the Blind. I trained as a dog trainer in Australia for 2 years before going back to the UK to complete my degree.

We have full clean driving licenses, international driving licenses and Keble has extensive experience driving forklift trucks, such as counter-balance and manitou reach vehicles, as well as large vans, motorbikes and pulling trailers.

We have done a few Kiwi house sits now, please checkout our reviews and we have done many more housesits around the UK, in a range of properties and for extended periods of time. We are more than happy to share our private references with you.

We are looking forward to meeting you.

Rosa and Keeble did a fantastic job of looking after our animals whilst we were away. They turned up a day early so they could learn the routine and we went away feeling confident that our 3 dogs, 2 horses, 2 pigs and 40 cows were going to be ok. And our dogs LOVED them. We received updates and photos whilst we were away which was great and came home to a warm welcome and clean and tidy house. We'd have no hesitation in asking these 2 lovely people to house sit for us again.

ANNE (Waikite Valley North Island, Jul 2024 - 1 week 1 night)
Amazing sitters. Great, quick and friendly communication. House was exactly as we left it and our cat was a very happy girl. Highly recommend Rosa & Keble. Thank you 😊

ARNA (Karaka North Island, Nov 2024 - 5 nights)
We are very grateful to have had Rosa and Keble look after our house while we were away overseas. Rosa kept in touch regularly and the house was tidy and in good order when we returned. I would not hesitate to recommend them as house sitters.

BRONWYN (Glendowie , Jul 2024 - 2 months 1 week)
Rosa was a prompt clear communicator and coped well with some extra issues like a torrential leak in our bathroom skylight and sorting various parcels that arrived while we were away - stashing 12 loaves of special bread in our freezer. The house was lovely and clean and tidy to come home to and the dog happy. I enjoyed meeting her when she came to check us out prior to the sit. She is very cheerful and easy to talk to.
